Hi, my name is Yongbing Zhao (赵永兵 as in Chinese), and I am a research fellow in the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
I received my Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). Prior to beginning my graduate study, I finished my bachelor degree in biotechnology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). Currently, I am utilizing both computational and experimental approaches to elucidate the global mechanism in transcriptional regulation, with a particular interest in exploring how transcription factors bind to regulatory elements and form enhanceosomes. Meanwhile, I also develop computational algorithms and deep learning models to analyze and interpret multiomics data. The following image is the keywords cloud of my research interest.
